Shawn Lazar

Shawn Lazar is the pastor of Gateway United Baptist Church in Denton, Texas, where he is passionate about helping people grow in grace and follow Jesus. Originally from Montreal, Canada, Shawn studied theology at McGill University (BTh), the Free University of Amsterdam (MA), and McMaster Divinity College (DPT). He also shares biblical insights through his blog and podcast, The Art of Grace, with Free Grace International. Shawn is married to Abby, and together they have three children—Daphne, Zane, and Scout.
